Public Schools in Indian River County
High Schools
provide academic instruction through an
integrated learning system, the Performance Based Diploma Program, that is a
model for other school districts. A comprehensive schedule offers a full
range of academic and vocational courses.
Each academic area includes advanced
placement and honors classes. Dual enrollment courses with Indian River
Community college are also available. Exceptional education services and a
special diploma are available to students with disabilities.
An outstanding vocational program
offers certification in such areas as agri-business, air conditioning,
refrigeration and heating, drafting and health services.
School is in session from 7:15 a.m. to
2:00 p.m. Dismissal from the optional 7th period class is at 3:00 p.m.
